Professor Paul Chirik is an inorganic chemist who has made significant and highly innovative contributions in the areas of Bioinorganic Chemistry and Catalysis. He has advanced our understanding of nitrogen fixation in Biology and Chemistry, and has developed new iron catalysts for organic transformations. In Germany, he will work on the Electronic Structure of his new catalysts.
